Global Idol Cross Gene receive an explosive reaction from the Japanese fans which proves that the group live to up to their Global Idol image.

Two days ago Cross Gene were at (O-EAST) found in Shibuya, Tokyo to commemorate the release of the “Japanese Edition” of their debut album.

Despite being the first event in Japan Cross Gene got a hot reaction having 1,500 fans attend the said event which proves their popularity, local media outlets also got into a heated competition for the coverage of the event.

Cross Gene is known for its, acrobatic-mix brilliant debut performance of the song (La-Di Da-Di) and who recently released a single in Korea entitled (Sky High). Both songs were included in the Japanese version of their debut album and during the first public release of the album a lot of fans were there to witness it.

In addition, fans were given a chance to ask the members some questions. The way the Cross Gene members answer the questions, it seems like they are not a rookie group for they are consistent with their witty joke, and they laugh a lot. One highlight of the event is the announcement of Cross Gene’s debut in Japan this coming December, which makes the fans more excited.

Cross Gene member Shin Wonho said “We were really surprised and impressed at the same time by the hot reaction of the Japanese fans and I will meet you again in December with a more matured appearance.”

Cross Gene will be splitting their time doing activities in both Korea and Japan.
