Boyfriend charts on Oricon

Boyfriend has managed to land itself on the number three spot on the Oricon charts.

According to the latest rankings as of December 4, Boyfriend’s second single album Kimito Dance Dance Dance/ My Lady – Winter’s Lover managed to place third on the Oricon weekly singles album.

The feat marks the latest accomplishment by the group in Japan after releasing its successful Japanese debut album in Marh.




Boyfriend will next hit up Japan’s Tokyo Dome’s City Hall on January 22 for its concert.

JYJ′s Kim Junsu successfully sells out concert

Kim Junsu’s popularity with his fans has been proven once more.

According to C-Jes Entertainment Kim Junsu’s upcoming solo concert, managed to sell its 21,000 seats over the course of three minutes.

The ticket sales went live via Interpark on December 4 at 8 p.m. (KST) in which all the seats for Kim Junsu’s upcoming live orchestra concert were sold in a matter of minutes.



Not only were tickets sold out in just a few minutes, the number of users visiting the site proved overwhelming for the servers as the site eventually crashed temporarily.

In the end, the competition proved fierce for tickets as many users ended up being shut out from reserving any seats and leading to a flood of calls on Kim Junsu’s agency to ask to open up more seats.

Kim Junsu himself is no stranger to having his performances sold out as his musical appearances have sold out completely in the past.

Backed by a full orchestra, Kim Junsu’s upcoming year-end concert will take place on December 29, 30, 31 and January 3 at the Coex D Hall.

2PM′s Chansung′s still cuts from drama released ahead of airing

2PM’s Chansung is shedding his status as an idol singer and transforming into a full actor.

For the upcoming 7th Grade Civil Servant, new still cuts of Chansung was released on December 5 from scenes recently shot in Thailand.





Immersed fully in character as the serious and hard working Hwang Chan Sung, Chansung donned army gear for the scenes, while undergoing intense training to portray the secret agent.



The new drama premieres on March in March 24 and also stars Joo Won.

K.Will to cameo on ‘Shut Up Family’

After performing with B.o.B at the 2012 MAMA, K.Will must have gained confidence in his English skills as he will be teaching English to SISTAR’s Dasom.



On the upcoming episode of KBS’ Shut Up Family, K.Will be making a special appearance as Dasom’s English tutor. He will be the character, Roy Kwak, who is hired to prepare Dasom for an upcoming English speaking competition.

Secretly a cold and rebellious teenager, Dasom’s character, Da Yoon showed affection and kindness towards K.Will, making her stepbrother (Choi Woo Sik) and neighbor (Park Seo Jun), who has a crush on Da Yoon, misunderstand and become jealous of the situation.

As he is under the same company as SISTAR, K.Will seems to appear on the show for appearance for Dasom. K.Will’s cameo will air on December 5.

ZE:A’s Kwang Hee releases teaser picture for next single

Following Im Si Wan, ZE:A’s Kwang Hee revealed his teaser photo for the group’s upcoming single.

On December 5, ZE:A’s official twitter released the second member photos for Kwang Hee.




The series of photos revealed Kwang Hee happily holding a bouquet of flowers for his special lady (maybe Secret’s Han Sunhwa?), but in the second photo, the bouquet is thrown at Kwang Hee’s head. The last cut shows a sad Kwang Hee with broken flowers and petals everywhere.

On his new photos, Kwang Hee tweeted, “I have more charms than Im Si Wan. What does he have that I don′t? Kekeke. The main was stolen from me again!!”

ZE:A’s upcoming new single, Beautiful Lady, will be released on December 7.

CN Blue′s Jung Yong Hwa tops a ringtone chart in Japan with OST for ′Heartstrings′

CN Blue′s Jung Yong Hwa took over Japanese charts with his OST piece for Heartstrings.

According to Dwango, a Japanese music site, the OST for the drama Heartstrings came in first place for the yearly ringtone rankings of 2012. Second place went to Jang Keun Suk′s OST for Love Rain with the same title, and third place went to As Ever, the OST for the drama You′re Beautiful.



The drama Heartstrings starred Jung Yong Hwa, and gathered much popularity in Korea. The drama even went on to grab a steady time slot on Fuji TV in Japan, and aired from July to November.

With the success of his dramas You′re Beautiful and Heartstrings in Japan, Jung Yong Hwa managed to leave a big impression as an actor in Japan.

In the meantime, CN Blue also previously made it to the top of the Oricon Weekly Chart with its first studio album Code Name Blue in August, selling a total of 44,000 copies.

JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun’s acting moves the drama staff

It’s no surprise that MBC’s I Miss You is a painful tearjerker, but now JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun is adding more tears to the drama with his emotional acting.



In a preview for episode 9 of I Miss You, Han Jung Woo (Park Yoo Chun) was visited by Soo Yeon (Yun Eun Hye)’s mother (Song Ock Sook), who prepared a lunch. As Han Jung Woo bit into the food that was carefully prepared by the only mother figure in his life, Han Jung Woo began to weep uncontrollably, unable to hold in his tears.





“On the day of this scene, the entire staff on set shed tears watching Park Yoo Chun’s acting. Even the male staff cried and applauded Park Yoo Chun for his emotional acting,” stated a staff member on the set at the time.

“It was probably very difficult to portray the complicated and vague feeling of longing, but he expressed in such an impressive manner that all the viewers will be sucked into Han Jung Woo’s character.”

Park Yoo Chun has been receiving much praise for his acting performance on I Miss You, as he portrays a character who is driven by guilt and love to find his first love from childhood, who was tragically separated due to a series of unfortunate events.

Episode 9 will air on December 5.
